Cindy returned my initial call within an hour & scheduled an appointment for the next day to measure & quote blinds and shutters for my windows. I then went to one of the big “box” stores for their quote which turned out to be hundreds more than Cindy’s. She came back to the house with color samples & we selected the color for the dining room. As I was in the process of remodeling the house, she suggested that we wait to measure & select color until the window seat in the bedroom was replaced and stained.
Although the shutters would not be ready for from 6 to 8 weeks after ordering, I was pleased that she knew her business enough to give me good advice about the shutters.
The blinds were installed in about 2 weeks and look wonderful.
The installer just left after putting in the shutters and they are exactly the look I wanted for the master bedroom.

Cyndi arrived at the appointed time; measured our window; offered various options of what we wanted; explained clearly our choices; provided us with a temporary paper accordion shade to provide privacy before our plantation shutter was delivered.

We had Cindy do multiple large windows with privacy roller shade type blinds. Service included a home visit to go over multiple options (in a range of prices), design advice/suggestions, and to take measurements.
It went very well overall. We thought Cindy was very personable and accessible. We did some comparison shopping and believe we found the best price with her (especially considering the excellent service that came with it!). We had absolutely no problems with the installation before or since (has been 4 months now and not a single issue).
I would recommend her (and have!) without hesitation.

Cyndi, owner of Blinded By Delight, came to my home and measured for window coverings and then we talked about alternatives to accomplish what I needed. After I decided on the Duette Architella shades, she ordered the blinds for me and, once they arrived, arranged for the installation.
The process went very, very well. Cyndi was professional in every way and knew all the pros and cons of her product offerings. The product I purchased had a rebate, for which she prepared the documentation and then sent it me with in a stamped envelope for mail in. She even enclosed information about how to obtain the tax credit available for this product. She exceeded my expectations in every way. I have already referred her to a friend.

Blinded By Delight placed the order, set up a convenient installation time, and finished installation per the agreement at the agreed upon price.
After checking with Angie’s List, we called B.B.D. They showed up punctually at the agreed upon time at our home. They had a number of samples and options. They were professional and very knowledgeable. There was no pressure selling and they were most helpful in explaining a number of products.
We decided on the choices, price and delivery time. They drew up the contract and followed through.

When I decided to replace all my blinds I had no idea where to start. There are so many options, prices, companies that it can be very difficult to get started. I started out by consulting Angie’s List and one company stood out right away. Blinded by Delight had many positive reviews so I gave Cynthia Roberts a call and we scheduled a meeting for the next day. She was punctual, cordial, and extremely knowledgeable about window treatments. Cyndi was very patient in assisting me with my choices based on our family needs. She had many recommendations that were both practical and appealing and she helped me choose just the right blinds for our windows. With the hot 100* Texas sun beating down every day we decided on the Duette Blackout shades. In less than 10 days they were measured, ordered and installed and they are simply amazing! The afternoon after my blinds were installed Cyndi called to make sure everything went smoothly and to see if I needed anything. My old blinds were removed and 10 new lovely Blackout blinds replaced them in about two hours. Six of my new blinds are very large and I am so pleased how nice they look. Also for the first time in many years I was able to enjoy my evening meal without the blinding setting sun. We wished to have wood shutters installed on 7 dining room windows and wanted the shutters to closely match those already on the other windows throughout our house.
We were DELIGHTED with Blinded by Delight from start to finish! I called this company after seeing all the excellent reports on Angie’s List. The owner, Cyndi Roberts, and I talked over the phone, I told her what we had in mind, and we set an appointment for Friday. She was on time, brought several shutter samples and color samples, and she looked carefully at the shutters we had in our other rooms, noting the finish, color, quality, right down to the hinges! She mentioned three companies that could be used and an approximate cost on each. She said the company whose product would best match our existing shutters was actually the least expensive of the three. I was concerned, though, because I did not want to buy from a Chinese company and have to worry about lead paint. She said she knew the company used a water-based paint and that they had a manufacturing plant in California if I wished to pay more for the USA product. She said she would do more research on their overseas plant and get back to me with the info. Sure enough on Monday AM Cyndi had all the info! The overseas plant was actually in Taiwan (which I had no problem with) and the paint comes from Brazil and has NO lead: Problem solved! We set an appt for Wed with the installer she thought could best handle the specialty job of removing trim work, as the chair rail trim actually went from our wall into the window frame. On her first visit, Cyndi had figured how the trim could be removed and the width of the shutter framing that needed to be used in order to cover any damage done in the removal.) Again, Cyndi was on time with Robert, her installer. They explained exactly what was to be done; both were very knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. Cyndi said it would take 8-10 weeks for the shutters to arrive and we signed a contract. Sure enough, Cyndi called, the shutters came in, we set an appt for Robert to install; and here we sit exactly two months & 1 day later looking at beautiful wooden shutters in our dining room! (Robert showed up on time yesterday morning, was polite, went right to work, and was a pleasure to have in our home; his work was top quality, he finished quicker than anyone thought possible, and he left the dining room as clean as when he arrived!) As a final note, my husband and I usually dread having work done in our home, but from our first meeting with Cyndi to Robert’s quality installation, and Cyndi’s follow-up call making sure everything was exactly right and that we were satisfied, this job was truly a DELIGHT, a five-star, a ten out of ten!

We bought blinds for the entire house as well as window treatments, curtains and shower curtains for various other rooms.
Being new to San Antonio and needing to furnish and cover the entire house where covering is necessary due to the proximity of the surrounding homes, we chose Blinded by Delight. Cyndi was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time not only helping design, but considering options for the various rooms. She worked with us on pricing of the blinds. On the window treatments, we wound up with some really stellar looks while keeping a relaxed and subdued style throughout. She was able to match fabrics and add according to accomplish just the right look. We even had a lampshade refinished. When the fabric of some of the treatments wound up looking pinkish rather than copper due to the lighting, she was very accommodating. In addition, given the number of treatments we had made pretty much from concept drawings, some needed adjusting once hung, which she accommodated as well. She also has a great seamstress that does wonderful work.
