The results are in! Our team at Blinded by Delight is excited to announce that we have received not one, but TWO awards for customer service and business performance achievements in 2017. Prominent business listing directory and review platform, Angie’s List has announced that they’re honoring Blinded by Delight with the Super Service Award for their 5th consecutive year. The team also brought in the Best of Houzz Award for outstanding client service and satisfaction.

Angie’s List Super Service Award
On January 17, 2018 Angie’s List announced who has been named this year’s “winners of the coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award”. Their yearly Super Service Award (SSA) honors service professionals who have maintained exceptional service ratings and reviews on Angie’s List in 2017. Blinded by Delight has also made it into the group of 20 percent of distinguished recipients who have won the award five years or more.
The award comes after months of continual effort and dedication to excellence. In order to be in the running for an SSA meant that our company had to maintain an “A” rating in overall grade, recent grade and review period grade. In our formative school years, an “A” grade or rating might have been all it took to impress the class, but for the Angie’s List SSA, it takes a little more than that. Winners must also be in good standing with Angie’s List, pass a background check, submit a current trade license attestation and abide by Angie’s List operational guidelines.
Angie Hicks, the founder of Angie’s List, explains, “This award not only honors providers who have excelled in the past year, but also makes it easier for consumers to identify high quality service providers.” Furthermore, “the Super Service Award logo has come to be a symbol that consumers look for as a sign of quality, and a tradition for many top-rated service pros.” Along with reviews and recommendations entered across national and local niche business directories and review platforms, we want our clients to visit our website and find that we make considerable efforts to satisfy the client and provide a top-notch experience for their home improvement project. For us, this logo is more than bragging rights; instead, we focus on how this award and others like it are positively correlated to our core values.

The Best of Houzz Award for Client Satisfaction
The leading platform for home remodeling and design, Houzz, also publishes an annual list of companies who have demonstrated excellence in three areas: Design, Customer Service, and Photography. Our award-winning and highly praised window fashions company who specializes in home automation, window fashions design, and quality window treatment installation in San Antonio and surrounding areas has won “Best of Customer Service” on Houzz for 2017.
Customer Service awards are determined by over 40 million monthly unique users who comprise the Houzz community as well as several ranking factors such as the number and quality of client reviews received in 2016. A “Best of Houzz 2017” badge is now featured on our website and Houzz profile as a signal to customers that we are highly qualified to help them meet their home improvement needs and are committed to excellence.
